The idea of this husband & wife team was to create a 'neighborhood' fashion store and so much more for the local fashion folk of Chester and for visitors from further afield.

This beautiful independent shop houses personally selected and carefully curated womenswear clothing collections, footwear, jewellery and homeware from the UK and Europe, especially Scandinavia.

If you ever get the chance to visit the vibrant urban village suburb of Hoole, with its hub of of indie shops, on the outskirts of Chester, then call by and enjoy a most relaxed shopping experience!

Hoole village is less than a mile from Chester city centre and has a great mix of quality independent businesses with award-winning butchers and fishmongers as well as a great deli, bakery, hair/beauty spas, gastropubs and some 'very' good restaurants! 

Hoole has a great old school ‘community’ feel with a contemporary edge.

With its antique white wood panelled walls, display cabinets and faded painted floor the interior of erj is not what you would call ‘slick’, more quirky and unfussy where the clothing is hung in a simple manner making the garments stand out against this blank canvas!

erj boutique showcases beautiful handpicked fashion collections and gifts, lovingly sourced with the help of Daughter Jessica (she’s the j in erj ... Ev, Rob Jess). 

Jessica joined the business in a full-time capacity after leaving John Moore University in Liverpool with a degree in fashion and textiles (useful!)

Service is one of the main keys to erj’s success and is what Ev and her knowledgeable team provide their loyal customers on a daily basis.

Personal styling is standard at erj boutique, being achieved in a very chilled and enjoyable way.
